The Advocacy & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the promotion and awareness of Disability Network West Michigan programs and services in a five county service area. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, responsibilities include extending the outreach and opportunity for educational workshops and activities that promote the awareness of disability rights issues while fostering disability community participation and leadership through effective community organizing and systems change efforts. This also includes participation in advocacy and ADA compliance efforts. Disability Network West Michigan is committed to the independence and inclusion of people with disabilities.
