Disability Network West Michigan would like to sincerely thank Roosevelt Park Michigan City Council for it’s unanimous vote to purchase an ADA compliant public address system with T-coil connectivity for use during meetings. This decision acknowledges the right of Roosevelt Park constituents who are deaf or hard of hearing to equal access to local government programs. With this act, Roosevelt Park City Council Members have set a precedent of upholding the rights of people with disabilities which all local governing bodies should strive to emulate!
