The stories of our relatives and ancestors carry lessons of strength\, courage\, and resilience that can inspire us today. \nJournalist Shandra Martinez\, founder of Legacina\, has spent more than 30 years capturing people’s stories. Now she’s focused on helping others preserve their own family histories. In this session\, you’ll learn simple\, accessible ways to gather stories—from scanning old photos and recording oral histories to asking questions that spark meaningful memories. Discover how involving multiple generations in the storytelling process not only preserves your family’s legacy but also strengthens your own resilience and self-esteem. Walk away with practical tools\, inspiration\, and the confidence to begin honoring your past as a powerful guide for your future. \nNote: This month’s Women’s Group will meet jointly with the Assistive Technology Group.
