Disability Network West Michigan is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities by offering the following Core Services, designed to support independent living across Muskegon, Oceana, Newaygo, Lake, and Mason Counties.
Independent Living Skills Training
We work with people with disabilities to acquire the essential skills needed to enable them to work, play, and live independently in their community.
We work with individuals to help them navigate and access community resources. We also work within our communities to remove barriers and advocate for equal opportunities for people with disabilities.
Peer support connects individuals with disabilities, fostering knowledge sharing, encouragement, and empowerment to build resilience and confidence in navigating life challenges.
These services aid youth in transitioning after high school to education, employment, or independent living. They also help individuals transition to or stay in their homes and communities instead of nursing facilities.
