Disability Network West Michigan is an approved Employment Network for the Social Security’s Ticket to Work program, serving the entire state of Michigan.
For individuals receiving Social Security Administration (SSA) disability benefits, the return to gainful employment can be complicated, and challenging. The Social Security Administration recognizes the challenges that beneficiaries face in returning to work and, as a result, can offer support to individuals who have the goal of achieving financial self-sufficiency, through SSA’s Ticket to Work program. Providers of services to SSA disability beneficiaries under the Ticket to Work program are known as Employment Networks (ENs). Learn more about Ticket to Work here: ChooseWork.SSA.gov.
Who is eligible? If you are currently receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits and you are between ages of 18 through 64, and want to be financially self-sufficient, you are eligible for Ticket services at no cost.
ADEN is an administrative Employment Network providing employment service to Ticket Holders (known as Participants by ADEN). ADEN consists of a network of service providers across the country called ADEN Members. ADEN Members are qualified community rehabilitation providers and other community partners, all of whom meet the requirements of SSA to serve ADEN Participants.
Why is ADEN different?
ADEN is a division of National Disability Institute (NDI), whose mission is to provide a better economic future for Americans with disabilities. ADEN is interested in providing services that lead to the long-term financial stability of each Participant.

This program can support you in your current job or assist you in finding employment.
