Our Mission

Disability Network West Michigan stands for a future where accessibility is a civil right, and diversity and inclusion are the norms. Advocating, educating, and empowering individuals with disabilities, we provide the tools and resources to foster an accessible community for all.

We provide services and resources for people with disabilities in Muskegon, Oceana, Newaygo, Lake, and Mason Counties.

Our Journey

Founded in 1999 and rooted in Muskegon, our organization has grown from the Disability Awareness Council and Disability Connection into a driving force for accessible living. We offer guidance and support, alongside accessibility consulting, to advocate for meaningful employment and inclusive environments.

Our team is made up of individuals with disabilities, who bring their personal insights and experiences to support and empower others within the disabled community.
