As of February 2024, more than 15% of households in the United States have reported having symptoms of “long covid.” “Long COVID” also know as “long haulers” and clinically as Post Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC) or Post COVID Condition (PCC), is documented with more than 200 known symptoms that can affect multiple body organs. People with PCC can take weeks or longer to recover from the condition with some still reporting symptoms since becoming infected with COVID-19 in 2020. What do you know about this condition? How do we get the latest information about “long COVID?” How do you talk about this condition with your doctor? Have you been diagnosed with “long COVID” but don’t know where to get more information? Join Disability Network West Michigan through the virtual webinar series “Let’s talk long COVID.”

Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, August 21st and Thursday, August 22nd to hear from medical, public health, and research professionals talk about what PCC looks like, what health interventions we can use to reduce and manage symptoms, what PCC may look like for veterans, and how we can advocate for our own health.
