Accessible transportation is fundamental for independent living. It empowers individuals to travel freely and participate fully in their communities. Unfortunately, significant barriers often prevent people with disabilities from accessing the transportation they need.
In this training, participants will learn about:
- Who is Disability Network West Michigan?
- Understanding the definition of disability.
- Exploring the concept of accessible transportation.
- Reviewing various accessible transportation options available in the Newaygo County area.
- Identifying and discussing the unique barriers associated with each option.
- Exploring potential solutions and next steps.

- Employers, government agencies, schools, health care, non-profit, and for-profit businesses. We can present to any audience.
